Puerto Inka is located on the Atiquipa Hills in Arequipa, South of Peru. These hills in fron of the ocean are the biggest in the world with an elevation of 1,240 meters on the highest point. The Inca’s choose this place in the coast because it is a very fertile area for agriculture and because it is the closest point to take fresh fish to Cusco! These Atiquipa hills are huge and each time we visit this place, we found a new trail for our next trip! To reach Puerto Inka it takes approximately 7 hours from the city of Lima. We have to travel on the South Panamerican Highway until we reach Km 614, just before the village of Chala. During these days of the trip we will ride a wide section of these hills and also the trails next to the ocean, enjoying nice trails and a wonderful beach!
