Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. By confirming a tour with Inkas Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

 

OUR TOURS

 

• Inkas Adventures offers mountain bike and adventure tours for riders of different ages, experience levels, and abilities. Our main specialty is mountain bike tours in Peru.

• Our regular mountain bike tours and adventure programs are described on our website.

• We also offer private and tailor-made trips, designed according to each client’s riding level, interests, preferences, group size, and available time.

• Official tour confirmations, itinerary changes, add-ons, modifications, and prices are communicated by email from info@inkasadventures.com or wayo@inkasadventures.com.

• The final itinerary, services included, add-ons, modifications, and total price will be confirmed in writing by email before the tour is considered confirmed.

• A private tour requires a minimum of 2 riders, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

 

Once the itinerary, services, add-ons, modifications, and total price have been agreed upon, Inkas Adventures will send a final booking confirmation by email.

 

• A 10% deposit of the total tour price is required to confirm the booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

• The remaining 90% balance is due 45 days before the scheduled start date of the tour.

• Payment is considered received once the funds have been credited to the Inkas Adventures account.

• If the booking is made less than 45 days before the scheduled start date, the payment conditions will be confirmed separately in writing.

 

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

 

If you need to cancel or reschedule your tour, you must reply to the official booking confirmation email and submit your request at least 15 days before the scheduled start date.

 

Rescheduling

 

• We do not charge an additional rescheduling fee when a tour is moved to a different date, provided the request is made at least 15 days before the original start date and a new date can be agreed upon.

• The new date is subject to availability.

• Any difference in the tour price resulting from inflation, changes in operating costs, transportation costs, entrance fees, exchange rates, or other economic factors may apply.

• If the client and Inkas Adventures cannot agree on a new date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the applicable refund policy below will apply.

 

Cancellation & Refunds

 

The initial 10% deposit is non-refundable.

 

If the client cancels the tour, the refund of the remaining payment will be calculated according to the number of days remaining before the scheduled start date:

The refund policy applies only to amounts actually paid toward the remaining balance and does not include the non-refundable 10% deposit.

 

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Any bank, payment processor, or currency-conversion fees incurred in connection with a refund may be deducted from the refundable amount.

 

CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY

 

Mountain biking in Peru involves changing weather conditions, road conditions, trail conditions, altitude, and other factors beyond our control.

 

For safety reasons, Inkas Adventures reserves the right to modify the itinerary, route, schedule, transportation, or activities when necessary due to weather, trail conditions, road closures, safety concerns, mechanical issues, government restrictions, or other circumstances that may affect the safe operation of the tour.

 

Whenever reasonably possible, we will offer an alternative route or activity of similar value.

 

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY

 

Mountain biking is an adventure sport and involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions, mechanical failures, difficult terrain, altitude, weather conditions, and road traffic.

 

Participants are responsible for riding within their own abilities and following the instructions of Inkas Adventures guides and staff.

 

We strongly recommend that all participants have appropriate travel insurance covering mountain biking, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation.

 

By booking a tour, participants acknowledge the nature of the activity and accept the inherent risks associated with mountain biking and adventure travel.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, permits, travel insurance, and any other documents required for their trip to Peru.

 

Clients are also responsible for informing Inkas Adventures in advance of any relevant dietary requirements, allergies, medical considerations, or other circumstances that may affect the safe organization of the tour.

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

 

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, bicycles, and equipment throughout the trip. We recommend that all riders have appropriate insurance covering their bicycle and personal equipment during travel and while participating in mountain bike activities.

 

Inkas Adventures takes reasonable care when transporting, handling, loading, unloading, and securing bicycles and personal equipment. However, mountain bike travel and adventure activities may involve unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or events beyond our reasonable control.

 

Inkas Adventures shall not be responsible for loss or damage to bicycles, personal belongings, or equipment resulting from an unforeseen accident, third-party action, road or trail conditions, weather conditions, animal behavior, transportation incidents, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided that reasonable care and appropriate safety measures were taken by Inkas Adventures and its staff.

 

Examples may include, but are not limited to, unexpected incidents occurring while bicycles are being transported by vehicle or animal, despite having been properly secured and handled with reasonable care.

 

However, this limitation does not apply where loss or damage is directly caused by the proven negligence or intentional misconduct of Inkas Adventures, its employees, guides, or contractors.

 

By participating in an Inkas Adventures tour, clients acknowledge that transportation and handling of bicycles and equipment in remote and mountainous environments involve inherent risks and agree to take appropriate insurance coverage for their personal equipment.

By confirming a tour and making the required payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
