Inkas Adventures is the Leader Mountain Bike Tour Company in Peru. Our team is conformed by top-ranked mountain bikers with experience leading groups and certified in first-aid attention. Our more than 20 years of experience, the knowledge of being local riders and our more than 19 National Titles among all our guides, sets a high benchmark and makes us feel very comfortable taking mountain bikers from all over the world to our trails. Ride with us and you will be immersed on the local mountain bike scene riding the most amazing trails in the Andes of Peru.

If you are a professional XC or DH rider, we have the trails (and the guides) for you. And if you are looking for a scenic ride to do with the whole family including your 5 years old kid or just looking for an easy ride, we also have those trails for you! Wayo Stein, our main guide, won the Bronze Medal in both the 2010 UCI Masters World Championships and the 2001 Pan-American Championship (Elite) + 14 times the National DH Championships and he will be glad to show you the best trails and help you improve your riding skills!

About Wayo Stein

Wayo is the founder of Inkas Adventures. He is a MTB passionate that is riding bikes almost all his life. He is 14 times National Downhill Champion, Bronze medal in the Downhill UCI World Masters Championships and the only Peruvian rider to reach the Elite podium in the UCI Downhill Panamerican Championships. He is constantly exploring and riding new trails to make his trips better every day. When you are following Wayo, you will go on the fun lines. He will take you on every jump and bump that is hidden on the trails!

Being a responsible adventure and eco tour operator is one of our main objectives and principles. All the adventures we offer has as their main objective to maintain the eco system and preserve it. We offer low-impact tours that benefit travelers and hosts alike.

We work very closely with local communities, businesses and individuals to develop sustainable tourism opportunities that help local economies while minimizing negative environmental and cultural impacts.

Part of Inkas Adventures operating philosophy is to respect the communities, their people and their landscapes in which we operate. We do this by acting in a manner that is environmentally, socially and economically responsible.

Gear and Equipment

Mountain biking is a dangerous sport that is not only “riding bikes and having fun on the trails”. There are many dangers like crashing, getting lost or even having a car accident.

That is why since the beginning we focused in offering the most reliable and safest mountain bike trips in Peru. We have a modern fleet of buses, mini buses and 4×4 trucks driven by skilled drivers to take you safe to the trails.

Our guides are professional mountain bikers with many years of experience, and many of them still race the local competitions with great results. They all have a first aid training and we provide them with radios, GPS with the track on it, knife, tools, spare parts and more gear to assure you are going safe on the trails. No matter which mechanical problem you have, with the tools and spare parts we carry, we have solved major mechanicals like brake problems and even broken frames!
